Sebastián Freille

I am full-time professor at the Facultad de Ciencias Económicas at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC). I teach courses in public economics and political economy both the graduate and undergraduate level. I got my BA in Economics from the Facultad de Ciencias Económicas and completed my PhD at the Nottingham School of Economics. Before joining my current position, I was a postdoc researcher at Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET), a visiting fellow at the University of Manchester and a honorary research fellow at the University of Nottingham.

My primary focus is on sub-national elections, political economy of redistribution, special interest groups, lobbying and corruption. I also have interests in data visualization and automation.

I am and will always be a maradonian.
